Basically what this future trend is about pets clothes for dogs. Clothes for dogs is becoming more and more popular and this is taking a step further of the idea that designer brands such as Adidas for example could make pet clothes for dogs.



This was hand made altering a kids Adidas tracksuit to fit the dog and is as the say "pet friendly" for the dogs comfort he looks so class!! :)

4th Post - The Beer Tracker Bottle Opener

The Beer Bottle Tracker digitally counts the number of time you use the bottle opener to open a bottle of beer. You can keep track of how many beers you have in a night or at o party also you can use it as a group and let everyone at your party use it to count exactly how much drink is consumed on a particular party night.

It can be used as a novelty gift or help people to keep track and control over their drinking.

3rd Post - SUDOKU SPINOFFS

There's a few sudoku spinoff's on trendhunters.com, fans of the number game have come up with their own version of the sudoku project and different ways it can be incorporated into everyday things. The goal is to raise the challenge and test brain power to the max.

2nd Post - Mood Improving Headsets

This is a change from my first blog its a look at future emerging trends in area of lifestyle. The area within this i looked at was health i came across Mood Improving Headsets.

Its officially called "The DayBreak Personal Stress Management System". Its designed to release tension in environments and situations of high pressure. Its been described as "...an electronic coach for your mental state."

when the headset is put on it sits above the ears and wraps around the back of the neck. There are sensors at the side that continually measure your heart rate, body temperature and muscles movements to calculate the amount of pressure or strain you are under. If any sign of stress is found massage pads at the back vibrate to give a little soothing massage.



The level of vibration automatically adjusted in relation to your level of tension. It acts like an indicator for you to take a break. Also it features: "Jet Shao’s DayBrake has earbuds for playing soothing music or mediation tracks and output jacks allow you to upload your statistics onto your computer."

1st Post - General Motors advanced tech window

The video is related to emerging or future trends within Digital Media sector. The video is about having animated auto windows in the back seats of cars to provide entertainment for back seat passengers. In the article below on the site stated that "Psychological studies have shown that car passengers often feel disconnected from their environment.." so having an interactive car window could change your back seat journey forever.

A company called General Motors (GM)(www.gm.com) who are a Human Machine Interface Research company asked a group of students from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Israel to come up with ideas to create new experiences for back seat passengers. What they came up with was "The Windows Of Opportunity Project". It consisted of the following features:

1. Spindow - which allows the user to change the view of their outside environment to any image around the world e.g instead of looking at Cork City you could change the view so your looking at New York City.

2. Fogged Drawing Board - You can draw pictures on the window using colour much like when drawing on fogfged up windows has the same effect.

3. Otto - is like a travel buddy to moves along side you as the car moves the faster the car goes the faster he flies. Responds to the environment outside of the car and can be controlled by the user

4. Pond - it acts much like a social network you can write a message on the window and flip it aroiund so people outside the car can read it and it also allows you to share music.
